The Sign of the New Heart One of the most earnest prayers recorded in the Word of God is that of David when he pleaded, “Create in me a clean heart, O God” (Ps. 51:10). God’s response to such a prayer is, A new heart will I give you. |

Lessons of Faith
[21.04.2008 10:09]
Many times in our life, we are troubled about what the future will bring. We become anxious to know what God has planned for us. As a young person, I remember myself and my friends wondering when we would be accepted to the right school or get the perfect job offer. |

A Sad Day for the Universe
[11.03.2008 23:12]
When our first parents were placed in the beautiful garden of Eden, they were tested in regard to their loyalty to God. They were free to choose the service of God, or by disobedience to ally themselves with the enemy of God and man... If they disregard God’s commands, and listened to the voice of Satan, as he spoke through the serpent, they would not only forfeit their claim to Eden, but to life itself. |

On October 29, 2007, a spark of fire quickly grew into a full-blown 500-acre forest fire in the Angeles National Forest of Southern California. |
A New Life
[02.01.2008 00:03]
Many of us today deeply regret things we have done in the past, wrongs committed, evil thoughts dwelt upon, or an uncontrolled temper. We long to be free from guilt and shame and to start a new life again. |
Why Was Sin Permitted?
[01.01.2008 23:50]
The great controversy between good and evil began in heaven as an outgrowth of love that flourishes only in freedom. When the controversy is over, the universe will have seen a demonstration of this love in such a display that it will prevent another rebellion from ever happening again. Every manifestation of creative power is an expression of God’s love–especially His decision to create intelligent beings who could say No to Him! |

Against the Tide
[01.01.2008 23:42]
In the early 1960’s, segregation of blacks and whites in America was prevelent, and prejudice against African Americans was the norm. Yet in the midst of this society, there were a few that stood up for integration and equality. They could have been quiet and gone along with the majority, but they chose otherwise. They were willing to face ridicule and hardship because their conscience knew that equal rights was truly just and fair. Now in this current day, all races of people have freedom in America because a select few were willing to go against the tide. |

Truth A Precious Treasure
[20.10.2007 01:56]
The truth is precious; it has wrought important changes upon the life and character, exerting a masterly influence over words, deportment, thoughts, and experience.
“Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding” (Prov. 23:23). |

Poor in Spirit
[06.07.2007 22:10]
For centuries, the children of Israel awaited a promised Messiah that would come and raise their nation out of obscurity and rule above all others. They longed for a coming king that would satisfy their worldly ambition of fame and power. |
Where Do I Find Peace?
[02.06.2007 04:28]
“Where Do I Find Peace?” This is the question that millions of people around the world ask when they witness confusion and disorder, when terror fills the heart as airplanes crash into buildings, when gun shots ring out in the schoolroom, or when hidden bombs explode unexpectedly. “Where is this world heading?” |

Hope Through Tragedy
[12.05.2007 04:37]
The tragic university school shootings at Virginia Tech that left 32 people dead, 33 including the killer, was a shocking and terrible loss. It is unfathomable how anyone could be filled with such anger and hatred as to shoot innocent people at random. I could not view the violent images of the killer aired on the news channel for they were so disturbing. |
Ladder to Heaven
[30.03.2007 02:56]
Have you ever felt a horrible sense of guilt for something you did wrong? Maybe it was a lie, deception, or angry words spoken in haste. Many people have done things wrong that they deeply regret. In the Bible, the story of two brothers, Jacob and Esau, is one of deception resulting in great remorse. |

Bill surveyed himself critically in the mirror. Yes, his skin had blemishes. Lots of them. He didn’t like the looks of it at all. |

Learn How To Pray
[10.01.2007 13:00]
Christ did not give this prayer (the Lord’s Prayer, Luke 11:2-4) for men to repeat as a form. He gave it as an illustration of what our prayers should be: simple, earnest, and comprehensive. |
